You can find this game complicated if you avoid reading about the playing rules and betting options. Basically you need to gamble on the outcome of two dice.
The first dice throw is called the Come Out thro, when you want a win by scoring 2, 3, 7, 11, or 12. When you throw 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 you have a Point and you can throw again.
The Craps table has two identical zones on either side, which are the Pass and Don't Pass line bets; Come and Don't Come bets; Odds bet; Place bets and Field bets. The place in the middle is called Proposition Bets.
Winning/losing plays
Pass Bets / Don't Bets - When you are at Come Out, you have the choice between Pass Bet (rolling 7 or 11 for a win) or Don't Bet (rolling 2 or 3 for a win). Should you get 12, this is called a Don't Bets Tie and means you can throw the dice a second time.
Kinds of Craps bets
Pass Line Bet - A 'Natural Win' is when you have 7 or 11. Conversely, a 'Natural Loss (Craps) is when you have 2, 3, or 12. You can make a Come Bet if you fix the Point on the Pass Line.
Odds on Pass Line Bet - Once you have fixed the Point, you are able to make another bet. Should you choose Come Bet and not Pass Line Bet, you have what is called the Odds on Come Bet . At this point you can also make a Don't Come Bet. If this happens, it means you win with 2 or 3 and lose with 7 or 11.
Place Bets - In this case you fix the Point and then declare that you will get 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10.
Field Bets - In this case, you bet everything on one roll. Winning numbers are 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 or 12. Big Six, Big Eight Bets - This means, for 1:1 odds, that you expect a 6 or a 8 to appear before the 7.
